Turkey's Initial State Party Report to the Committee on the Rights o Persons with Disabilities is published! (October, 2017)
Turkey has submitted its initial State Report to the Committee in 2015, which is required by the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities which was ratified in 2009. The aim of these reports is to allow the review of measures taken by States Parties to comply with the Convention. The Report will be reviewed by the Committee and the Committee will publish its views on further measures for full compliance. Civil society organizations can contribute to this process by submitting their own alternative reports.
